Priority points are allocated as described below.

Planned Giving 4 points for every $100 contributed Priority points may be awarded at the time of gifting under the following guidelines:
  1. The gift must be irrevocable; the terms of the gift may not be amended without consent of the beneficiary (TMF).
  2. Priority points will be awarded based on the net present value of the portion of the corpus of the gift held in cash or cash equivalents, using the IRS calculation of NPV.
  3. From time to time as additional portions of the corpus are liquidated, additional points may be awarded, again using the IRS calculation of NPV.
Gifts in Kind 4 points for every $100 contributed Goods or services gifted and fair market value of the gift are approved by the President and Major Gifts Senior Vice President prior to point award.
Years of Consecutive Giving 25 points for each consecutive year of giving All accumulated consecutive giving points are forfeited in the year consecutive giving ceases. If giving renews, the balance is not reinstated and years of consecutive giving restart at zero.
Seat Endowments prior to 2014 500 points for 2 seat endowment, one time award

1,000 points for 4 seat endowment, one time award

1,000 points for endowments without seating benefits, one time award
Endowed members are considered active members of the 12th Man Foundation during the term of their endowment.

Endowed donors who elect to have their endowment refunded forfeit any priority point award related to the endowment.
Priority Season Ticket Holder 10 points per priority season ticket. Priority season tickets are those seats that have an annual donation associated with the seat. Currently, football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball have priority seating options. Points began accumulating in 2005.
Faculty and Staff Football Season Ticket Purchases 10 points per season ticket Points began accumulating in 2014. Faculty or staff member must be an active member of the 12th Man Foundation to earn points.
Lettermen Football Season Ticket Purchases 10 points per season ticket for football Points began accumulating in 2014. Letterman must be an active member of the 12th Man Foundation to earn points.
Non-priority Season Ticket Holders for All Texas A&M University Ticketed Sports 5 points per season ticket Points begin accumulating with the 2015-2016 season. Season ticket holder must be an active member of the 12th Man Foundation to earn points.
Athletic Ambassadors 10 points per year of service Points began accumulating in 1999.
Champions Council 15 points awarded annually to members of Champions Council Points are awarded for commitments made after January 15, 2015.
Lettermen’s Association Lifetime Members 100 points, one time award
Lettermen Letter Bonus 200 points, one time award Awarded to any active Lettermen’s Association member who lettered in Aggie athletics.

If the Letterman becomes inactive, the points are not forfeited.
