Frosty Gilliam Jr. earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M in 1980. He is the President of Aghorn Energy, Inc., which he founded in April 1988. Aghorn Energy is an independent oil producer focused on building the company through acquisitions. Frosty is a Texas Registered Professional Engineer, a member of the Petroleum Engineering Industry Board and was recognized by the Dwight Look College of Engineering as an Outstanding Alumni in 2012.

He and his wife, Rhonda, have supported A&M through professorships and scholarships in Petroleum Engineering, as well as multiple generous gifts to various 12th Man Foundation capital projects, including the Rhonda and Frosty Gilliam, Jr. '80 Indoor Track in the McFerrin Athletic Center, the Rhonda and Frosty Gilliam, Jr. Plaza in the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball, as well as lead gifts for the Blue Bell Park renovation project, Kyle Field Redevelopment project, the Player Redevelopment Center through the Next Step Campaign, and the Bright Complex renovation.

Frosty is an active member at his local Baptist church and enjoys time with his family, working with youth, fishing, golfing and attending A&M events. Frosty and Rhonda have two children and one granddaughter.
